This means that Chrome users no longer need to install the dedicated GFN app. In addition, the developers have simplified the process of adding new games to the desktop, added support for devices based on the Apple M1 processor, and much more. The developers emphasized that the service “can work” on other platforms, but they are not officially supported yet.

According to analysts, Chrome is the most popular browser among PC owners. It is used by 64.1% of devices. It also remains the leader on mobile with a 61% rate.

GeForce Now differs from most competitors in that you don’t have to buy games there. The user just needs to sync his account with GFN on Steam, Epic Games Store, or Ubisoft Connect, after which he can launch projects from the corresponding libraries in the streaming service. The company is currently working to support CD Projekt’s GOG store.
