GeForce RTX 20 series video cards are sold not only on Avito. Manufacturers themselves began to reduce prices
NVIDIA partners are going to release their versions of the GeForce RTX 3080 simultaneously with the launch of the reference version on September 17. But before starting to sell something new, manufacturers seem to have decided to quickly get rid of the GeForce RTX 20-series models. In particular, we are talking about companies such as ASUS and Zotac. According to the resource Tom’s Hardware, they have seriously reduced the cost of some GeForce RTX 20xx models in selected markets.
For example, in the Philippines, ASUS has reduced the price of the GeForce RTX 2080 Supermodel by 50%, as the local division of the company announced on its Facebook page. The cost of the proposals is now approximately 37 to 38 thousand rubles in terms of local currency. In Malaysia, GeForce RTX 2080 Ti models from Zotac have fallen in price by 55%. The current price is about 45 thousand rubles.
Moreover, Zotac even offers a 256GB NVMe XPG SX8200 from ADATA as a small compensation to those who bought these cards after August 9th. At the time of its publication, Tom’s Hardware did not disclose information about a reduction in prices for offers from other manufacturers in other markets.
At the same time, the resource notes that secondary trading sites have flooded with offers for the sale of used flagship models of the current generation. It started last week. In some cases, the cards were only used for a few months. According to Tom’s Hardware, you can now find on the Web, for example, the EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti models for $ 565 (a little more than 42 thousand rubles).
If you look for offers on the Russian Avito site, you can find the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti model for 48 thousand rubles with a guarantee and a check. The seller points out that the reason for the sale is his desire to purchase a GeForce RTX 3090 model based on the new Ampere architecture.
