GeForce RTX 3060 Ti really exists: published images of the upcoming video card by Gigabyte

At the disposal of the VideoCardz resource were images of one of the options for the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti video card from Gigabyte. Earlier it was reported that NVIDIA postponed the announcement of the junior Ampere model to early December, although it was allegedly originally scheduled for November.

According to the source, unlike the GeForce RTX 3090, RTX 3080, and RTX 3070 models, the younger GeForce RTX 3060 Ti model may lack the Founders Edition reference design. Thus, this graphics accelerator will be available only invariants from NVIDIA partner companies.

VideoCardz has managed to get hold of Gigabyte’s GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle OC images. Looking at them, you can see that the card has a relatively short PCB and is equipped with a cooling system with two fans, the size of which goes beyond the PCB itself.

The model name indicates that this version of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti has a factory overclocked GPU, but unfortunately, the information on the frequency of its operation remains unknown. Earlier it was reported that the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will be based on the NVIDIA GA104-200 GPU, which has 4864 CUDA cores, 152 tensor cores, and 38 RT cores. In addition, the video card will be able to offer 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory with an effective frequency of 14 GHz and support for the 256-bit bus. By the way, the GeForce RTX 3070 is equipped with a memory of the same size and standard.

The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle OC variant uses one 8-pin connector for additional power. According to the source, the maximum power consumption of most versions of the younger Ampere model will not exceed 200 watts. Thus, a PCIe x16 slot with a return of 75 W and one additional 8-pin connector with a return of 150 W will be enough for the card.

According to the latest data, the announcement of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is scheduled for December 2. There is no exact information about its cost yet, but it is assumed that the price of various versions of this graphics accelerator will not exceed $ 400.
