Genshin Impact Wins One Of The Most Successful Mobile Game Debuts – $ 245M In First Month
Analyst firm Sensor Tower shared their observations: The recently released action-adventure RPG Genshin Impact looks like one of the most successful mobile launches in history. In the first month, users spent in the game at least $ 245 million. And that’s not including PC and PlayStation 4, where Genshin Impact is also shareware.
The launch of Genshin Impact bypassed mobile debuts such as Lineage II: Revolution, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Fortnite’s first 30 days on the App Store. However, Pokemon Go failed to catch up – the starting revenue of the project about pocket animals was $ 283 million.
On the App Store and Google Play, the game has also surpassed Honor of Kings ($ 216 million) and PUBG Mobile ($ 195 million) in revenue since its release. Notably, Genshin Impact data does not include Android sales in China. So the real picture can be even more impressive.
It is known that in China, the revenue of Genshin Impact was over $ 82 million, while in the United States – $ 45 million.
