GIGABYTE Equips New GeForce RTX 3080 Accelerator with Water Block and RGB Fusion 2.0 Lighting
GIGABYTE Technology has officially unveiled the GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming OC WaterForce WB 10G graphics accelerator for gaming-grade desktop computers.
The model received the designation GV-N3080GAMINGOC WB-10GD. The developer fully disclosed the characteristics of the new product, the preparation of which was announced back in January.
The accelerator is based on the Ampere architecture. The configuration includes 8704 CUDA cores and 10 GB of GDDR6X memory with a 320-bit bus. The core frequency of the chip reaches 1800 MHz.
The video card is endowed with a full-coverage water block. The overall dimensions are 310 × 134 × 40 mm, and in a computer case, the solution will take two expansion slots.
The card features proprietary RGB Fusion 2.0 backlighting with a palette of 16.7 million colors, which can be synchronized with other desktop station components. The casing is made in an aggressive design; there is a reinforcing metal plate at the back.
To connect monitors, there are three DisplayPort 1.4a interfaces and an HDMI 2.1 connector. To work with the accelerator, it is recommended to use a power supply unit with a capacity of at least 750 W. The product comes with a four-year warranty.
