Google Chrome has reached a new frontier, while Windows 10 is losing ground

The first place by a wide margin from all competitors is Google Chrome. The share of the Chrome browser market has grown over the month from 68.5% to 69.18%, reaching a new historical level and almost reaching 70%.

Microsoft Edge is in second place, its share has grown from 7.59% to 7.76%. Firefox occupied the third place, it also has a rise from 7.19% to 7.25%.

Net Applications also published statistics on versions of operating systems. The share of Windows 10 decreased from 57.34% to 56%. Such a noticeable decline cannot be attributed to the influence of the coronavirus pandemic and the more intensive use of Windows 7 – the share of the latter also fell, from 26.3% to 25.59%. Against this background, the Linux platform, on the contrary, increased its share from 1.36 to 2.87%, and the latest version of macOS – from 3.41% to 4.15% on a global scale.
