Google has ended support for yet another of its products.
The device came out 10 years ago, so here we are, of course, primarily about security updates. It is entirely possible to use a Chromecast without them, although Google warns that users may experience performance degradation, and it’s not clear why.
The last update for the media adapter came out in November, but it was the only update in three years.
