Google has released an extraordinary update to its branded browser. Google confirmed that a zero-day security vulnerability in Chrome was actively exploited by attackers in real life.
While Chrome security updates are not uncommon in and of themselves, updates that address a single, actively exploited zero-day vulnerability are indeed uncommon. The latest Chrome update is one of those rare updates. Users have access to versions 114.0.5735.106 for macOS and Linux, as well as 114.0.5735.110 for Windows.
