A group of industry heavyweights including Google, Box, Citrix, Dell, Imprivata, Intel, Okta, RingCentral, Slack, VMware and Zoom have formed the Modern Computing Alliance. The alliance will bring innovation to enterprises in the Chrome ecosystem,” the publication was quoted by a representative of Google, a member of the alliance.

In addition, corporate clients will have access to help in solving a wide range of technological problems they face, the source said. According to the alliance’s official statement, its main goal will be to support various modern computing platforms and provide a choice of complex business solutions, which will be especially important in a pandemic. The first products under the Modern Computing Alliance are slated to launch in the first half of 2021. However, the sources do not specify what exactly the companies are going to present.
