True, only in Chrome
Google has announced the launch of a feature that has long been featured in the hugely popular Zoom and a number of its competitors in its Google Meet video conferencing service.
Google Meet allowed users to customize the background
We are talking about the ability to set a custom background during a video conference. Previously, users could blur the background, but now you can replace the background completely by setting your own picture or choosing from the options provided. No additional extensions are required for this.
At first, the function was only available in Chrome for macOS and Windows, as well as Chrome OS. Google Meet for Android and iOS will have support “soon”.
