The solar panels will be installed on the rooftop of the Google office information center in California. Its construction is nearing completion, and installation of the roof will begin shortly.

In total, the American Internet giant has ordered 120,000 panels from Solvis. They were developed with the participation of Google experts and a Swiss partner.

The solar panels are made in silver. Standard Solvis products are known to be two square meters and deliver up to 500 watts.

Google expects to fully convert its offices and data centers to renewable energy by 2030. This will ensure zero carbon dioxide emissions.

We add that another Internet giant, Amazon, is actively buying green energy: last year it became the largest corporate consumer of such energy.
