Google Photos for Android has new editing tools
The Google Photos app is regularly updated with useful features, so it is trendy among users. This time, the developers have added two editing tools to sharpen and remove grain from the photo, making it clearer. At this stage, new features are available for the Android version of the Google Photos app.
After choosing the “Edit” option and going to the list of available tools, you will notice that at the very end, there are options for “Sharpness” and “Noise reduction.” To draw the user’s attention to the new tools, they were marked with yellow dots, similar to how it was done when the HDR effect was launched for Pixel smartphones and Google One subscribers.
As for the functions themselves, the process of interacting with them is quite simple. Both options are complemented by a scale from 0 to 100, on which a slider is located, moving which you can change the sharpness or adjust the noise level in the picture.
The new features are reportedly in the rollout phase and may not be available to all Google Photos users at this time. Since we are talking about server-side changes, users have to wait for the Sharpen and Noise Reduction tools to appear in the list of available editing tools. According to available data, both functions will be available to all users of the service, regardless of a Google One subscription.
