Google Pixel 4a became a hard-to-find product even before the start of sales

Google Pixel 4a was announced on August 3, but will not officially go on sale until August 20. Nevertheless, those wishing to purchase a new product have the opportunity to pre-order. This could be done not only in the Google Store but also with partner companies, for example, Amazon. The latter began taking orders even before the announcement of the Pixel 4a but has now reported a shortage of the model.

According to Amazon, demand for the Pixel 4a in the US was so high that the entire reserve of devices allocated to it ended on Thursday, August 6. It is not possible to pre-order at the moment. Instead of the order button, the following text is placed on the model page: “ Currently not available. We do not know when this item will be back in stock. ” In the Google Store at the time of this writing, pre-orders were accepted without problems.

As a reminder, the Google Pixel 4a is priced at $ 349 in the United States, which is $ 50 cheaper than its predecessor, the Pixel 3a. It’s also $ 50 less than the new iPhone SE that was introduced earlier this year. So Google’s proposal looks really tempting.

The Pixel 4a smartphone received a 5.8-inch display, 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal flash memory, a Snapdragon 730 processor, a 12.2-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera, and a 3140 mAh battery with support for fast 18-watt charging.
