Before the price drop, 10 TB of Google One storage cost $ 100 a month in the US, and now the price is $ 50 a month
Google recently announced that the company will stop providing unlimited free storage on Google Photos in 2021, which will inevitably force many users to pay extra to save their photos. However, before this change takes effect, Google announced a significant price cut for its Google One subscription.
Great news for Google Photos users. Google has cut the cost of additional cloud space on a Google One subscription in half
In an email detailing everything that’s new in Google One, the company announced a 50 percent price cut for 10, 20 and 30 TB packages. Before the price drop, 10 TB of Google One storage cost $ 100 a month in the US, and now the price is $ 50 a month. Likewise, the 20 and 30 TB packages were priced at $ 200 and $ 300 per month, respectively, and now they are down to $ 100 and $ 150 per month. Unlike other lower volume plans, there is no way for these options to pay a higher annual price.
Google One storage plans include a variety of perks, including 10% Google Store cashback on Google Store purchases, free VPN, family access, priority Google support, and discounts on hotels, flight bookings, and more.
The prices of other tariff plans remained unchanged: the cheapest one for 100 GB costs $ 2 per month or $ 20 per year.
As a reminder, Google Photos got cool new features, including cinematic photography, new collages and layouts, and memory lock.
