Honda has partnered with MUJI to introduce the MS01 electric bike to the Chinese market. It differs conceptually from other similar vehicles in its design – the novelty is more like a motorcycle or moped. The resemblance to them is provided by large 17-inch wheels, frame, and seat.
Here is a 400 W motor that accelerates the bike to 25 km / h. The removable lithium battery provides a range of up to 65 km. The company believes that on average, the battery will have to be charged once or twice a week. The MS01 also has a keyless entry system and an LCD screen, as well as an LED headlight and a flashlight.
The novelty is priced at $ 745, there are two color options – white and black. The volume of the first batch will be 5,000 pieces, and nothing is said about whether the MS01 will go on sale in other countries.
