How do you like lipstick, men? Google Duo began to tint users

The latest Google Duo filter was developed in collaboration with the renowned cosmetics brand L’Oréal Paris. The filter adds lipstick to the user’s lips, and the effect looks very realistic.

Apparently, this high realism is because Google already has experience in applying virtual makeup.

The YouTube app last year launched testing of a new ad format called YouTube Beauty Try-On. It allows brands to invite viewers to try out cosmetics in virtual reality – to appreciate the effect of different products in different shades on their own faces. During YouTube Beauty Try-On is available in alpha testing for iOS.

The new filter is already available in the stable version of Google Duo for all users.
