The only difference between the two models is their stand. In the HP X24ih, it is more ergonomic and allows you to adjust not only the angle of the display but also the height and rotation. In all other respects, both new items are identical. The monitors have thin bezels and are equipped with 8-bit matrices with support for 16.7 million colors, with a pixel density of 93 ppi (dots per inch), a static contrast ratio of 1000: 1, and horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 178 degrees. A typical brightness level of 350 cd / m 2. The manufacturer claims 99% coverage of the sRGB color space for new products. The presence of the OverDrive mode allows you to “overclock” the matrix response to 1 ms. Both models support AMD FreeSync Premium technology.
The equipment of the monitors also includes one HDMI 2.0 connector, one DisplayPort 1.2, and one 3.5 mm audio connector. In addition, the monitors support VESA mounts (100x100mm).
New products include HP Omen Command Center software. Through it, you can adjust the image: select one of the eight available presets, adjust the brightness, contrast, and response time of the screen, enable or disable the adaptive synchronization of the frame rate, and display refresh rate.
The manufacturer estimated the monitor model X24i at $ 230. For the X24ih with a more ergonomic stand, HP has announced a price tag of $ 250. Both monitors will be available from October 4th.
