HP has announced the S750 line of SSDs for its client segment. These drives are standard size 2.5 inches, equipped with a SATA 6 Gb / s interface. They are available in 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.

The new SSDs use an SMI controller and 96-layer 3D NAND flash memory. Regardless of the size, the drives provide sequential read speeds of up to 560 MB / s and sequential write speeds of up to 520 MB / s. In terms of performance on random access operations, the 256 GB version shows 55,000 IOPS in reading mode and 79,000 IOPS in write mode, the 512 GB version is 90,000, and 89,000 IOPS, respectively, and the 1 TB version is 74,000 and 80,000 IOPS, respectively. The 256 GB SSD resource is declared equal to 160 TBW, 512 GB – 320 TBW, 1 TB – 650 TBW. The manufacturer did not quote the prices since they vary significantly depending on the region of sales.
