Huawei almost followed in Apple’s footsteps. League of Legends developer games removed and then restored to AppGallery

We are talking about games like Arena of Valor. Also, Tencent owns hit companies like League of Legends and Clash of Clans.

On December 31, 2020, Tencent tried to make a “big change” in terms of cooperation with the Chinese giant. As a result, on January 1, the Tencent ecosystem games disappeared from the Chinese AppGallery.

This happened shortly after Apple removed 39,000 games from the Chinese App Store in one day. It was caused by the expiration of the period during which game publishers had to obtain licenses to sell China software.

The equally authoritative publication Reuters reported that further negotiations between Huawei and Tencent allowed the companies to agree and restore cooperation. In the meantime, the games have been restored to the AppGallery.
