They will come out next year

Each new generation of Zen architecture (not counting the transitional Zen +) has brought impressive performance gains. Should we expect the same from Zen 4?

Huge performance gains and possibly a 24-core top model. These will be the AMD Ryzen 7000 processors

According to the first rumors, Zen 4 will increase the number of instructions executed per clock (IPC) by more than 20%, which is a lot. In comparison, Zen 3 was up 19%.

Given the new process technology, which will once again raise the frequencies, the Ryzen 7000 CPUs, even without taking into account other changes, should outperform the Ryzen 5000 more than the latter outperform the Ryzen 3000.

As for the increase in the number of cores, there is no clear data yet. The source says there is information on 24-core configurations, but it is not yet clear if AMD will actually release such CPUs in the Ryzen 7000 lineup.

Recall, recently there was information that the TDP of the Ryzen 7000 line will reach 120W, but there will be some kind of 170W model. It is quite possible that we are talking about a 24-core top-end CPU, but it will obviously be very expensive.
