In Microsoft Flight Simulator, you can sell your content

Asobo has announced that Microsoft Flight Simulator will include a built-in marketplace for buying and selling custom content. For the latter, players need to submit an application and obtain developer approval. Once your content is approved and published, you will automatically receive payments for every sale.

“We strongly believe that the new embedded marketplace will provide you with a great opportunity to attract more customers than you can achieve today,” said Asobo Studio. ” Our goals and aspirations with Microsoft Flight Simulator are to build on the success of FSX, which has sold millions of copies, and to have more people play the simulator on PC with Xbox Game Pass

The site will allow players to buy content without even leaving the simulator, which increases the convenience of the procedure. The market will operate on an agency model. This means that you, as a content creator, will set the cost of each of your positions yourself. In addition, you can sell your creations on other sites if you want.

To become a seller, you need to apply on the official Microsoft website.

Recall that Microsoft Flight Simulator will be released on August 18 on the PC, and on the Xbox One – until the end of the year. Since its publisher is Xbox Game Studios, the game will immediately go to the Xbox Game Pass service catalog. Closed alpha testing of the simulator is also currently underway, and the beta will begin on July 30th.
