Wireless charging takes 15 minutes
The GSM Arena resource has acquired an experimental sample of a serial Zero Ultra smartphone, modified to support 260-watt charging, as well as the charger itself. The smartphone uses a 4400 mAh battery and adds support for wireless charging, which is not available in the serial device. The production model, recall, supports 180-watt charging.
Tests showed that the smartphone was charged from 1% to 100% in 6 minutes 27 seconds, although it continued to consume power for some time, and the system reported a full charge after 7 minutes 51 seconds. Infinix itself, recall, spoke of 8 minutes. That is, unlike some other manufacturers, in this case the result was confirmed with a small margin, and if we consider the minimum time indicated first, then with a huge margin. Up to 25% of the smartphone is charged in just one minute, as promised by the manufacturer. It takes just over two minutes to reach the 50% mark.
It took less than 7 minutes to fully charge the smartphone.
The temperature of the battery during such charging rises to 47 degrees.
Infinix also has a 110-watt wireless charger with the same technology. It allows you to charge your smartphone up to 100% in 14 minutes 28 seconds according to the indicator, or in 17 minutes 34 seconds, if you focus on the message of the operating system. Infinix promises 16 minutes.
Thus, at least in the case of the prototype, charging Infinix, firstly, as a whole, works as fast as the company promises, and secondly, it is much faster than any other charger on the market. The same 240-watt Realme GT3, according to source tests, manages to fully charge in about 11 minutes.
