Latest Switch Firmware Finds References to Next 4K Nintendo Console
Rumors about the Nintendo Switch Pro (or, as it is also called, the Super Nintendo Switch) have surfaced with a fair amount of frequency in recent months. And now the evidence of their veracity has arrived: in the last official software update of the existing Nintendo console, references to the new Switch model were found.

Nintendo recently released Firmware Update 12.0.0 for Nintendo Switch. It didn’t make many changes. However, it turned out to contain links to an upcoming revision of the console. Twitter user @OatmealDome rummaged through the update files and found a mention of 4K. Besides, the new system update 12.0.0 now allows the dock to be internally updated with a new firmware named ″ CrdA ″ (Cradle for Aula). According to the latest rumors, Aula is the codename for the new Nintendo Switch model.
Bloomberg reported last month that Nintendo plans to release a Nintendo Switch with 4K support, NVIDIA DLSS technology, improved processor, memory, and Samsung 7-inch OLED display.
