Leak: Cyberpunk 2077 Can Run In Performance And Quality Modes On Xbox Series X

Best Buy has already started sending physical copies of Cyberpunk 2077 to pre-order holders. A Reddit user under the pseudonym DanXcel also received his collector’s edition for Xbox consoles. He launched the project on Xbox Series X and found that Cyberpunk 2077’s settings had the ability to change modes: there was a choice between performance and quality.

Most likely, this choice is implemented in the same way as in other projects coming out on new consoles. If the user chooses performance, then the frame rate will tend to 60 frames / s, but the resolution will decrease. And in quality mode, Cyberpunk 2077 will launch in dynamic or native 4K, but at 30 fps. And since there are two options on the Xbox Series X, the Series S and PlayStation 5 most likely have a similar feature added.

Curiously, Cyberpunk 2077 has already implemented a mode change, although full versions of the project for the next generation consoles will be released only in 2021. And on December 10, 2020, the hotly anticipated action RPG will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, GeForce Now, and Google Stadia. On Xbox Series X, Series S, and PS5, it can be run via backward compatibility.
