According to the information provided on the ORBIS Patches website, patch 1.01 for Mass Effect Legendary Edition will require a download of 11.8 GB or 13.3 GB, depending on the region.

The patch was fixed by ORBIS Patches back on April 28, but on this day and over the next two weeks, only owners of early copies of Mass Effect Legendary Edition – for example, journalists – will be able to use it.

The patch notes on the patch page include performance and stability improvements and fixes for Mass Effect Legendary Edition crashes and minor content bugs.

In addition, the Day 1 patch should improve the Ambient Occlusion shading model and lighting system. The latter will affect both the visual component and the performance of Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

Recall that the Mass Effect Legendary Edition includes improved versions of Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 (single player mode only) and all the additions to them, except one.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition will go on sale on May 14 this year for PC (Steam, Origin), PS4, and Xbox One. In Russian retail, the collection is not going to be sold “for commercial reasons
