Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 3 business laptop is made on the AMD Ryzen 5000 platform
Lenovo has announced the ThinkPad E14 Gen 3 laptop, aimed primarily at business users: the device is equipped with a 14-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels.
The basis is the AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor. The amount of RAM can be up to 24 GB. The M.2 PCIe solid-state drive has a capacity of up to 1 TB, and an optional second M.2 PCIe SSD with a capacity of up to 512 GB is available.
The laptop is equipped with stereo speakers (2 × 2 W), a 720p webcam, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless adapters, an Ethernet network controller (RJ45), and a backlit keyboard (not available on all modifications).
The set of interfaces includes USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, and USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI 1.4 connector, and a 3.5 mm audio combo jack.
The laptop measures 324 x 220.7 x 17.9 mm; weight starts at 1.64 kg. A rechargeable battery with a capacity of 45 or 57 Wh can be installed: in the first case, the battery life reaches 12.8 hours, in the second – 15.8 hours. The operating system is Windows 10 Pro.
ThinkPad E14 Gen 3 is expected to start shipping in May; there is no information about the estimated price yet.
