New Year’s scenes in “Together” mode and a collection of backgrounds for meetings and video calls
Microsoft has announced new features for Microsoft Teams. Among the innovations are both New Year’s “buns” and the expected function that Microsoft presented back in September for several months.
The long-awaited update to Microsoft Teams, plus New Year’s scenes and backgrounds. Meeting rooms became available to everyone
We are talking about the function Breakout rooms (Meeting rooms). It generated positive responses, if not hype during the announcement, but only now began to spread massively. Breakout or breakout rooms make it easy to divide meeting attendees into subgroups to make it easier for users to conduct small discussions, brainstorms, training sessions, and more. Hosts can independently switch between meetings, send announcements to all rooms at once, and return everyone to the main meeting at any time. Breakout rooms can be created in both Microsoft Teams channels and meetings.
Also, there are new scenes in the “Together” mode in the New Year’s theme, suitable for holding a virtual holiday party with colleagues. In addition to the holiday backdrops, a new set of scenes for Together mode includes a cafe and conference room, classroom, and more. Halo fans can gather for an important meeting at the United Nations Space Command.
Additionally, Microsoft Teams has added a collection of new customizable holiday backgrounds for standard appointments and video calls ( watch out, download ).
