Looks like a native: for Valheim, a beta version of the VHVR VR modification has been released

Officially, the action-adventure RPG with elements of survival Valheim only supports a third-person view. However, modder Brandon Mousseau has released a modification that allows players to enjoy the Viking world in VR. So far, it is only being tested.

To play with this mod, you need a SteamVR compatible VR headset and a powerful enough PC. It is noteworthy that the mod does not currently support motion control. Fortunately, one of Musso’s colleagues stated that the feature would appear in the future.

As you can see in the video above, the VR mode camera is implemented very conveniently, and the quality of Valheim’s graphics does not interfere with immersion in the world through a virtual reality headset. Besides, the modification is fully compatible with the co-op mode. Therefore, you can play with your friends whether they are using the VR mod or not.

Valheim is in Steam Early Access.
