Marvel’s Avengers has lost its creative director – he returned to Naughty Dog
Former creative director of Marvel’s Avengers, Shaun Escayg, announced in his personal microblog that he was returning to his previous job – the studio Naughty Dog.
As a reminder, after almost seven years of work, Escape left Naughty Dog in January 2018 for a promising superhero action movie from Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics, and Eidos Montreal.
Since then, Marvel’s Avengers has managed to sell, disappoint players, journalists, and its publisher, and lose almost the entire (96%) audience on Steam.
Escaping accompanied the announcement of his return to Naughty Dog with a photo of his desk with a laconic ( “Welcome back, Sean!” ) Greeting card from the California studio.
Naughty Dog commented on the incident in her official microblog: “Welcome back, Sean Escaig! We are glad that you are back in the studio and look forward to working on some cool stuff together. “
During his previous period at Naughty Dog, Eskage had a hand in the creation of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, the original The Last of Us, and the Left Behind expansion.
According to unconfirmed reports, Naughty Dog is currently developing a multiplayer game (probably multiplayer The Last of Us Part II ) and a remake of The Last of Us for the PlayStation 5.
