Microsoft to begin testing Xbox cloud gaming service for browsers on Windows 10 and iOS tomorrow
Microsoft will launch limited beta testing of its Xbox Game Cloud for browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari) as part of its Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription tomorrow, April 20. This will allow users of the service to try out streaming technology on new platforms.
Starting tomorrow, Microsoft will begin sending Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to test invites for browsers on PCs (Windows 10) and Apple smartphones and tablets. 22 states participate in the program, but, unfortunately, Russia and the CIS countries are not among them.
The service supports Bluetooth and USB controllers so that you can play with them even in your browser. Microsoft also noted that more than 50 games have customizable touch controls. In total, more than 100 projects will be available for browsers as part of the tests.
