Mojang representatives said that the owners of the system have long asked to add support for a VR headset, and this has been part of the studio’s plans since the game was released on the console. They also clarified that the VR version will not differ in content from the classic one – only new options for configuring VR will appear in the game.

The VR version will have two modes: on a virtual screen (Living Room Mode) and in the first person (Immersive Mode). The user will be able to choose the preferred option in the game settings. In both modes, control is carried out using a gamepad.

Earlier, Microsoft and Mojang announced the release of the Creeping Winter add-on for Minecraft Dungeons. DLC release is scheduled for September 8th. Together with him, new missions, challenges and much more will appear in the game.
