Final Fantasy XVI has already become the best-selling PS5 game in Japan
The latest version of the cult role-playing game Final Fantasy, which has taken a sharp start, has led to numerous complaints from users of the Sony PlayStation 5 game console. The console simply overheats during the game, especially during boss battles, and even turns off during the playback of certain in-game videos.

Apparently, this only applies to those who play in a mode in which the resolution is more important than the frame rate. The performance-priority mode does not lead to such problems. Here is an example of one of the reviews:
This is where my PS5 went from silent mode to fan speed berserk mode and suddenly shut down in a matter of seconds. The PS5 beeped three times and turned off.

I know this game is very demanding with all the boss fights and such reports of overheating are known at the moment but I have never come across this. My room is pretty cool thanks to the fans and A/C running due to the summer heat, and the PS5 is sitting on a table with plenty of open space. Very little dust accumulates. I have never received overheating warnings.
Judging by the numerous reviews, the problem concerns not so much the console itself or its pollution, but the features of the game. Nevertheless, the network recommends, just in case, once again clean the device from dust.
