The Epic Games Store continues a large-scale New Year’s Eve promotion: Night in the Woods from the creative team of Infinite Fall has become a new, already eleventh temporarily free game in the service.
You can add Night in the Woods to your library on the project page on the Epic Games Store. The offer will expire tomorrow, December 28 at 7:00 PM ET.
It is noteworthy that until today Night in the Woods was not listed in the Epic Games Store catalogue. Thus, the beginning of the distribution of the game coincided with its release on the Epic Games digital distribution service.
Night in the Woods is an action-adventure platformer starring May, an anthropomorphic cat who returns to his hometown of Possum Springs after a bad college experience.
In an attempt to renounce her duties, May seeks to return to the past, but life goes on continuously: childhood friends have changed noticeably since the last meeting. And there’s some devilry going on in the forest.
Night in the Woods was released in February 2017 on PC and PlayStation 4. With the release of the director’s edition of Weird Autumn in December 2017, the adventure hit Xbox One, and in February 2018 reached the Nintendo Switch.
In total, Epic Games is going to give away 15 games as part of the New Year’s Eve promotion in its digital store. According to a recent leak, the next (already the twelfth) project of this kind will be the survival simulator Stranded Deep.
