Nubia Unveils Red Magic Watch Under $ 100
Today, the Chinese company Nubia, a subsidiary of ZTE, entered the smartwatch market with the Red Magic Watch. Although the device’s design is not completely new, extensive functionality, coupled with a price starting at $ 93, can bring popularity to the watch.
The Red Magic Watch boasts around a 1.39-inch AMOLED matrix with a resolution of 454 × 454 pixels. The device stands out for the laconic design of the metal case, on the right side, of which there are two functional buttons. The watch is available in black and silver cases. Users can choose from a range of straps made of leather or silicone.
The Nubia smartwatch has a 5 ATM water resistance rating. The device supports 16 different workout modes, including soccer, running, cycling, and walking. The Red Magic Watch is equipped with a Sony CXD5605 GNSS receiver that provides GPS, QZSS, and Beidou support. It is worth noting the presence of the Goodix GH3011 sensor, designed to track such body indicators as heart rate and blood oxygen levels. The device supports displaying notifications from apps and provides 15 to 23 days of battery life. However, when the GPS is on, this time is reduced to 50 hours.
The Red Magic Watch will go on sale on March 11 and will be available in five variants. Models with a silicone strap will cost $ 93, and a watch with a leather bracelet will cost $ 109.
