However, Nvidia is credited with release plans for these two models
While Nvidia cannot provide next-generation GPUs to the consumer segment and data centres, it is preparing to release new models based on the Ampere architecture. There is already confirmation that shortly the announcement of GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, RTX 3070 Ti, RTX 3060 and RTX 3050 video cards are coming, and the source became aware of two more models – GeForce RTX 3080 Super and RTX 3070 Super.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Super and RTX 3070 Super video cards are known only by names
Meanwhile, while the manufacturer will focus on two new products – the GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3080 Ti, the first is expected to be presented in January and the second in February. The RTX 3080 Ti is reportedly based on a GA102-250 GPU with 10496 CUDA cores, 20GB of memory, while the RTX 3060 will receive a GA106-400 processor with 3840 CUDA cores and 12GB of memory.
There are no technical details on the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Super and RTX 3070 Super yet. According to rumours, the GeForce RTX 3070 Super basis will be the GA103 GPU, which has not yet been mentioned anywhere. As is clear from the designation, it will occupy a niche between GA102 and GA104.
