NVIDIA will give Watch Dogs: Legion to buyers of GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards

A new series of NVIDIA video cards in the form of the GeForce RTX 3080 accelerator based on the Ampere architecture has formally gone on sale (in fact, cards are not so easy to find in retail, especially at the manufacturer’s recommended price ). But, one way or another, the company decided to support the buyers of its video cards with the distribution of the upcoming high-budget action movie Watch Dogs: Legion.

According to NVIDIA, the promotion is valid for the purchase of a GeForce RTX 30 series graphics card from September 17 to October 29, 2020, from participating sellers. In Russia, these are Citylink, Delta Game, DNS, Invasion Laboratories, NIKS, OGO! Gaming “, ” Online Trade ” and XCom Shop.

The choice of Watch Dogs: Legion from Ubisoft as a gift is no coincidence: the project will be one of the first to receive support for the latest version of DLSS up to the new DLSS Ultra Performance mode. The latter offers intelligent 9x upscaling from 1440p to 8K on the new GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card.

What’s more, the game also supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing to enhance the fidelity of reflective effects in hybrid rendering – shadows are rendered using conventional rasterization methods. The latest trailer for the London ALT tour shows perfectly how the environment and colors are reflected in puddles and other mirrored or shiny surfaces:

NVIDIA is also promising game optimizations in Game Ready drivers, GeForce Experience app, and HDR support for Watch Dogs: Legion. The action movie is expected to launch on October 29 on PC (Uplay, Epic Games Store), PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. Xbox Series X and S versions will be released on November 10, and on PlayStation 5 on the 12th of the same month.
