One of the most unusual smartphones of 2021 will be called the LG Rollable and it will receive a rolling screen
As we already reported, in March next year, LG has scheduled the release of a unique smartphone, endowed with a flexible display that rolls up inside the case. Now Internet sources have revealed the alleged name of this unit.
The device, according to the available information, will receive a screen extending from the left and right side parts of the case (see renders). Thus, the owner will be able to transform the all-in-one smartphone into a small tablet computer.
According to LetsGoDigital, this week LG submitted an application for registration of the LG Rollable trademark to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). It is under this name that observers believe the roll-up display smartphone will hit the commercial market.
The document says the name LG Rollable can be used to refer to smartphones, displays, cell phones, monitors, tablets, and other electronics. It is not excluded that the South Korean company will unite a whole series of products in the LG Rollable family.
In any case, the upcoming rolling-screen device is set to become one of the most unusual smartphones of 2021. Of course, the price of the device will be very high.
