OnePlus is already developing the next generation of flagship smartphones, codenamed Lemonade
Last week for OnePlus was eventful. Carl Pei, the co-founder of the company, officially left the company, and on October 14, the new flagship smartphone OnePlus 8T was launched. Today it became known that OnePlus is already working on a new family of flagship smartphones, codenamed Lemonade.
Insider Max J. announced the beginning of the development of new devices, previously distinguished by a mass of reliable leaks. It is assumed that the new series of smartphones will be shown to the public in March or April next year. At the moment, little is known about the devices, but it is assumed that the series will include the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 875 chipset, which is expected to be announced in early December this year. It has been speculated that OnePlus 9 smartphones will boast 120Hz displays with extremely narrow bezels, as well as OnePlus 8T-style main camera blocks.
It’s too early to judge the price of upcoming smartphones, but we can assume that it will remain at the level of the current flagships of the company. Recall that the recommended cost of the new OnePlus 8T was $ 749, while the more advanced OnePlus 8 Pro at the start of sales cost $ 899, and now it has dropped in price to $ 799.
