A well-known insider Digital Chat Station has revealed new details about the upcoming Oppo Find N2 smartphone. The announcement of a new folding smartphone may take place at the annual Oppo Inno Day presentation, which is expected on December 14th. According to the source, the device will receive a folding 7.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1792 pixels and an external 5.54-inch screen with a resolution of 2120 x 1080 pixels.

According to Digital Chat Station, these will be Samsung’s next-generation AMOLED E6 panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. Previously, this insider reported that Samsung has already begun shipping new displays to its partners, and the flagships of the end of this year are likely to receive just such screens.

The source also spoke about the cameras of the smartphone, although some data about them appeared earlier. The device will receive a 32-megapixel camera on the front panel, a 32-megapixel camera inside the folding screen, and the main 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).

It will be complemented by a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 wide-angle camera with a 114-degree field of view and a 32-megapixel camera with a 2x telephoto lens. Also included is a MariSilicon X imaging processor and Hasselblad software. The Oppo Find N2 will ship pre-installed with Android 13 with ColorOS 13 interface. The smartphone is built on Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, equipped with a 4520mAh battery and 67W fast charging. The thickness of the device will be 14.6 mm, and the weight will be 237 g. By the way, earlier the weight of the Oppo Find N2 will be less than 240 g, that is, less than that of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, reported another verified insider.
