The aforementioned video is less than a minute long and promises a “recreated from scratch” Lost Haven with “colorful and distinct neighborhoods,” as well as features that are authentic for the 1930s: widespread corruption and prohibition.

More details on how the map of Lost Haven has changed compared to the original Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven, the developers of Mafia: Definitive Edition told at the end of July.

As for collectibles, there will be previously demonstrated cigarette inserts with portraits and biographical information about the characters of the Mafia trilogy.

In addition, the covers of real science fiction magazines of the 20-40s and fictional comics are scattered around the world of Mafia: Definitive Edition. The developers promise that they showed only a small part of what will be in the game.

Earlier in Hangar 13, they shared the details of the maximum (classic) difficulty level: stricter police officers, no assistants, and tips when driving, as well as “fair” reloading.

Mafia: Definitive Edition will be released on September 25 this year on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Contrary to tradition, the Epic Games Store version will go on sale later than others.
