Philips 242E2FE and 272E2FE monitors get a fully frameless design
By the end of December, Philips 242E2FE and 272E2FE monitors will be on sale, designed for everyday use: they are based on an IPS matrix with a diagonal of 23.8 and 27 inches, respectively, with a Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels).
The display of new products is framed by narrow frames on all four sides. The devices have a response time of 4ms GTG (1ms MPRT) and a refresh rate of 75Hz. Horizontal and vertical viewing angles – up to 178 degrees.
For monitors, 97.4 percent coverage of the NTSC color space is claimed. The brightness of the younger version is 300 cd / m 2, the older version is 350 cd / m 2. The contrast is the same – 1000: 1.
To reduce eye strain during prolonged work, Low Blue technology (helps to reduce the intensity of the blue backlight) and Flicker-Free (prevents flicker) is responsible.
HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 and D-Sub interfaces are available for connecting signal sources. The stand allows you to adjust the screen tilt angle and height in relation to the table surface.
