At least on Geekbench
Pixel smartphones based on Tesnor SoC do not have any high performance in benchmarks or games, but the new generation will be noticeably better. At least the processor part, judging by Geekbench.
Pixel 8 Pro turned out to be significantly more powerful than its predecessor
The Pixel 8 Pro with its Tensor G3 SoC was tested and scored 1760 and 4442 points in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively. For comparison, the Pixel 7 Pro scores around 1450 and 3800 points, which is a very noticeable increase.
Of course, the new Google platform is very far from the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with its 2000 and 5500 points, and the new Pixels will compete with devices based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but still, the increase cannot be ignored. It is still unclear whether the GPU will have an equally noticeable increase.
