As it became known, Shakedown: Hawaii will go on sale for the new console Sony Interactive Entertainment on December 15th. Despite the proximity of the release, this version of the game does not yet have its own page in the PlayStation Store.

The developers also added that the owners of Shakedown: Hawaii on previous PlayStation consoles (PS4, PS3, PS Vita) will not have to pay for the PlayStation 5 edition – the project supports Cross-Buy.

As for the content of the PS5 version of Shakedown: Hawaii, the game will include all the latest updates (including an additional difficulty mode) and support for the DualSense controller (adaptive triggers, improved vibration) on the console.

Plus, with the PS5 release, Shakedown: Hawaii is finally hitting the platinum trophy. It is also reported that the list of achievements (the extended list will reach the PC) will be its own, and not the same with PS4, PS3, PS Vita.

“If you’ve already completed the original [Shakedown: Hawaii] on previous platforms, there hasn’t been a better time to start the second playthrough – especially with the new difficulty mode,” noted Vblank Entertainment.

Shakedown: Hawaii was released in May 2019 for PC (Epic Games Store), PS4, PS Vita, and Nintendo Switch. Subsequently, the project made its way to 3DS (September 2019), Wii (July 2020), PS3 and Wii U (August 2020), and Steam (October 2020).
