Cyberpunk 2077 on consoles really didn’t work out
The popular Metacritic aggregator, which collects reviews in particular about games, began publishing reviews from real buyers of the console version of the fantastic RPG Cyberpunk 2077, who are overwhelmingly unhappy with what they got for their money.

Recall that the first review of the console version of the game for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One was published by the French gaming edition Jeuxvideo.com, which rated the game at 3.5 points out of 10 (more precisely, 7/20), and the readers of the resource rated the game much lower (3, 1/20).

This game is a mess that cannot be played on the original Xbox One, frame rates consistently drop below 20fps, and bugs show up throughout the entire process (at extremely low resolution). All marketing for this game was deceiving, as CD Projekt RED never showed how the game performed on the original Xbox One and Xbox One S but did assure it that it worked “surprisingly well.” Avoid at all costs.

It is simply unacceptable to release the game in such a technical state. I was really thrilled, but it would be better if they postponed it for at least another 6 months. I hope this backlash will spark a reaction from CD Project RED.
False advertising, the game does NOT work properly on older consoles and should never have been released on PS4.
The release of this game on PS4 is a bug. Graphics are a tragic mass of mistakes. It feels like you’re playing a 2000 game. CD Project RED has tricked all console gamers. I wish I had this game back because I wasted my money. It only lasted two hours and my eyes were bleeding from the game.
A terrible game, CD Project RED has fooled everyone with its false marketing, false promises, and exaggerated expectations. I’m sorry I wasted money on this pile of junk.
It is not playable in its current state. Hopefully, they will fix the issues, but do not purchase this game as it stands and do not expect a refund after that.
Game quality is on par with early access games on Steam, it needs at least a year of polishing.
“Consoles are our priority,” they said, “Cyberpunk 2077 looks amazing on consoles,” they said. So trust them f ** k after that.
The developers reported that the initial sales of the computer version of Cyberpunk 2077 on the very first day approached the 5 million mark.
