So far, it has been confirmed that Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Sackboy A Big Adventure are ditching their PlayStation 5 exclusive status to also launch on legacy consoles right off the bat.

We know that PlayStation 4 owners will switch to PS5 at different times, and we are pleased to announce that some PlayStation 5-exclusive games will also be released on PlayStation 4. Although these three games have been designed with the PS5 in mind and its unique features, the new generations such as super high-speed SSD and DualSense controller, PS4 owners will also be able to enjoy them immediately after their release.

Sony is offering a free update for the next-generation console to those who buy these games in the PlayStation 4 version. Anyone who buys the game on the PlayStation 4 digitally or physically can get the PlayStation 5 version by downloading the update.
