PlayStation Now will receive support for 1080p resolution until the end of April
Sony has announced an upcoming improvement to its PS Now cloud gaming platform. According to a statement on Twitter, the service will begin rolling out support for 1080p broadcasts by the end of the week.
The service currently only supports 720p. The upcoming changes will only be available in Japan, Canada, the United States, and Europe. According to the developers, 1080p resolution will be available for “compatible” games, but the exact list has not been specified.
Sony launched PS Now cloud service in September 2016. A subscription allows users to play various video games remotely. Now the library has over 800 projects for PS2, PS3, and PS4. The platform is not available in Russia.
