Not sure if this will provide any benefit.

It looks like the set-top box is running Android. At the same time, even if this is true, it is far from certain that Sony will enable gamers to enjoy all the benefits of this operating system. For example, you can install cloud gaming apps on competing platforms on Android, and Sony could very well block those features.

No other features can be distinguished from the video. Recall that the PlayStation Project Q will not be a full-fledged portable game console, because it will not be able to run games on its own. This is a streaming gaming device for those who have a PS5, that is, games will be launched on a large Sony console and broadcast on a small one. It is possible that there will be support for PS Now cloud gaming, but Sony itself has not yet spoken about this.

According to rumors and leaks, the autonomy of the set-top box, despite the lack of a full-fledged hardware platform, will be only 3-4 hours, and the device will cost less than $300.

It is also worth mentioning that the video was posted by a Twitter user with the pseudonym Zuby_Tech, who is not known to us with any reliable leaks. However, the well-known journalist and insider Tom Henderson, who, by the way, today revealed the characteristics of the PlayStation 5 Pro , noted on his Insider-Geming website that these materials came to their editorial office two days ago and they were able to confirm their authenticity from their own sources. Henderson is one of the most trusted insiders in the industry. He disclosed information about upcoming consoles and Sony products, various games and so on numerous times. Including it was Henderson who disclosed data on the PlayStation Q portable console before its announcement.
