Sony Interactive Entertainment has released an updated PS App on mobile devices, which includes a number of innovations and prepares users for the next generation of consoles.
The user interface has changed in the PlayStation App. The home screen displays what your friends are playing, as well as information about your recently launched projects and prizes received. In addition, PS Messages have been integrated into the PS App, so you don’t have to switch between them to communicate. In addition to this, you can now create party groups on your smartphone and communicate simultaneously with 15 users using voice chat.
PlayStation Store recently underwent a major redesign. The PS App now has a built-in store so you can browse its products and remotely download games to your console. And after the release of PlayStation 5, it will be possible to remotely launch projects through the application, manage system memory and log into an account.
The PS App is available for download on Google Play and the App Store.
