PS5-version of Godfall went to gold – before the release of almost two months
Gearbox Publishing and developer studio Counterplay Games have announced on the official microblog Godfall that the PlayStation 5 version of their co-op slasher has gone gold.
In other words, most of the game’s production has come to an end, and the final Godfall master disc is ready to be printed and uploaded to digital services.
“On behalf of everyone working from home at Counterplay Games and Gearbox Publishing, we can’t wait to be ascended with you on PS5 in November!” – commented on the announcement on the Godfall microblog.
When the pre-order collection for the PlayStation 5 version of Godfall opens, Counterplay Games and Gearbox Publishing were unable to respond but promised to notify players of the possibility of pre-purchase.
Besides PlayStation 5, Godfall is also being made for PC (Epic Games Store). Despite the simultaneous release of editions for both platforms, the developers did not say anything about the readiness of the PC version of the game.
Recall that Godfall will go on sale for PC (Epic Games Store) and PS5 on the same day with the launch of the new Sony console – on November 12 in the US and other countries of the first wave, and on November 19 in the rest of the world (including Russia).
For now, Godfall is only available for pre-order on the Epic Games digital store. The game is sold in three editions: standard ( 1999 rubles ), extended ( 2649 rubles ), and “ascended” ( 2849 rubles ).
