PUBG game to be released on PC and consoles by next year

Bloomberg interviewed Krafton CEO, Chang-han Kim. In a conversation, the head revealed some of his company’s plans for the coming years. It turns out that “by next year” she is going to release a project for PC and consoles related to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

Kim Chang-han did not provide other details about the mysterious game. Perhaps we are talking about the prologue announced at The Game Awards 2019 – the next release from the creator of PUBG Brendan Greene. It is currently being developed by the PUBG Studio team in Amsterdam. However, during the first screening, nothing was said about the connection between the prologue and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. It is possible that Kim Jong-Khan mentioned his company’s unannounced project.

In addition, in 2021, PUBG Corporation will release another battle royale for mobile platforms. It will also have something to do with PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. And in 2022, users will see The Callisto Protocol – a dark horror movie that will have minor points of contact with the PUBG universe. Thus, PUBG Corporation has three projects in development.
